Bladon Micro Turbine (“Bladon”), the pioneer in the design, development, engineering and manufacture of micro turbine gensets (“MTGs”), today announces the appointment of David Roberts as Chief Financial Officer.

David joins Bladon from AIM-listed company Chamberlin PLC, where he has been Group Finance Director since 2013. Since qualifying as senior auditor at Ernst & Young in 1991, David has gathered substantial experience in senior financial roles within the manufacturing and engineering sectors. This includes six years as a Divisional Finance Director at Britax International, a supplier of original equipment in the automotive industry and twelve years at TIMET, a titanium product producer where he was European Finance Director, as well as advising such businesses while at EY.

David is highly experienced in working internationally across multiple locations; skills that will prove crucial as Bladon expands its operations in Sub-Saharan Africa following the launch of the Bladon MTG earlier this year.

David Roberts, CFO, Bladon Micro Turbine

David is a brilliant addition to the executive team at Bladon. His proven track record and experience as a finance director in manufacturing businesses will be invaluable as our company continues to grow at speed, and his knowledge of operating internationally makes him a great fit for the Bladon CFO role. We look forward to working with him in 2019.

Bladon is a business that has engineered its own unique product with the potential to have a genuine impact on an entire industry. Having the opportunity to work with them to do that is very exciting, and I am thrilled to be joining the business as they begin to take the MTG to market.
